This assignment was based off of finding these eleven elements of composition: texture, pattern, lines, depth of field, color, perspective, symmetry, rule of thirds, space, balance and framing. It was so my fellow awesome classmates and I would learn basics of the camera. It's also SUPER helpful to know what makes images more interesting to the eye. I may have taken way too many pictures, but sadly, we only had to turn in one for each element. I loved this assignment, truly. I spent so much of my free time trying to get "creative," I spent at LEAST an hour (after taking fifty pictures at school) taking at least ninety-six more. Besides, learning the basics of using the camera, it gave me time to explore what it's like to do another form of art. I also have learned more about the time and thought it takes to make a good image. I believe that everyone can be a good photographer if they take time and be bold by trying new techniques as well as different angles for a picture. It was also a nice excuse to take a lot of pictures of my cats, that was my favorite part.
